STRENGTHENING THE FUTURE, ONE HERO AT A TIME.

We use the gentle nature of horses to assist Veterans, First Responders, their families and their communities with any support or education needed.

PROTECTING THOSE THEY LOVE AND SERVE

fabric masks

50+ hours, 25+ yards of fabric, 6 spools of thread, plus 10 hours for the filters, and voila! — themed masks for the Ohio State University Veterinary Hospital. Total strangers helping people they have never met, making safety equipment to protect the staff and those they love and serve. Thank you to Annette Dill, the seamstress who made PERFECT masks out of OSU fabric and horse fabric. Special thanks to Director Karin Zuckerman and Dean Rustin Moore who approved Katherine Hardins "repurposing" the surgical filter material. Truly the epitome of #inthistogether #takingcareofeachother #staysafe

THANK YOU QFM96!

Thank you to WLVQ-FM 96.3 and to Roush Honda, Roush Ford, Raising Cane’s Ohio, Comfort Dental, Equitable Mortgage Corp, and all the supporters of the radiothon on November 8. YOUR actions speak volumes of your heartfelt support of our Homefront Heroes! You all are helping True North make a difference, one Hero at a time. We can’t thank you enough for the funding and the shout out. #youROCK!

FORGED BY STEEL

Our first steel forging clinic in October was a huge success, and we're planning more soon! Marine forge instructors Chris and Patrick brought their equipment and an individualized approach to teaching, and the weather was perfect for Veterans and First Responders to create their own steel knives. Check back soon for the date and registration information for future clinics!

Veterans to Benefit from AEP Equipment Donation

Instead of being auctioned off, some used construction equipment has been donated by AEP — to a place where it will be used to help veterans and others with Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome (PTSD).

How Can I Help?

You can help True North Veteran Support in many ways. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and accept donations through PayPal, Amazon’s AmazonSmile Program, and Kroger’s Community Rewards. Neither Amazon or Kroger charge anything for these services — just shop as you normally would after signing up, and True North Veteran Support will receive a portion of each sale.
