We are in the process of constructing an equine complex and a maintenance building, along with retention ponds and a brine shrimp aquaculture area, on XXXXXXXX acres in Delaware, Ohio.
Our equine complex will have a large indoor arena, attached to a 24-stall barn with an indoor round pen, tack room, kitchenette, and classroom/conference space. The indoor arena will be big enough to host rodeo events, and stalls can be converted for foaling and isolation. The meeting spaces can be used for many purposes, including the workshops and clinics that we sponsor. In addition, the complex will have hay fields and pasture space.
Plans are being finalized, and the entire complex is structured to keep costs low for day to day functionality.
In addition to the typical equipment and storage spaces, our maintenance building will have two mechanics’ bays. These bays will allow many veterans and first responders to work on their own vehicles, since they are not permitted to do vehicle maintenance in their apartment or condo parking lots.
As we construct these facilities, we are already working toward our long-term goals: Installing solar panels to supply 100% of our electricity, building additional greenhouses, expanding our hay/crop acreage, and adding lodging/cabins.
